Here is how to service the Front Crank Free Wheel hub. Typcial first service is around 150 miles or so. This partical Hub became lose at 20 miles. This is not typical. For some reason the factory did not get the Cone tight and after only 20 miles started to unscrew itself making the hub very lose. If the hub gets too lose, you can lose some of the bearings. When you have a new Hub if on the Dax Shift kit or In frame kits, you need to ride locally. IF there is excessive run it, or in this case, the main cone is working itself lose, a good way to know that there is something not right is you will feel the pedals wanting to pedal themselves forward under power. This is a key signature of a hub getting too much play and needing service is when the pedals want to go forward under applied engines power. You can raise your feet off the pedals a little and see if the pedals want to go forward. If so. Stop the bike and grab the main sprocket and check for play. IF play is excessive, then time for service. Service is simple and needed at 150 miles or sooner. Enjoy the Video and Enjoy the ride !!!
