I have a hub which will accept 10g spokes, but I want to mate it to a rim that will accept 12g spokes. Can I use washers to fill up the slack in the holes? Anyone know what size/where to order from?

Well, it seems like any washers that will fit 12g spokes will work fine. I just put a 12g spoke through one of the 10g spoke holes, and it fits pretty good, the head doesn't go right through the hole like I thought it might. I'm still going to use washers just for peace of mind, but I'm sure I can find the right ones just by looking.

In case anyone else needs to know this, home depot sells a 100 pack of 0.99" ID flat washers for $20. These will fit a 12g (2.5mm aka 0.99") spoke. Probably not too many people are lacing 12g spokes into 10g hubs, but the info is here just in case.
