This is my first motorized bicycle build using a Firmstrong Bruiser and the Skyhawk GT5 engine kit.
Other items used in this build:
Manic Mechanic sprocket adapter.
Manic Mechanic 1.5" engine mount.
Schwinn rear shelf.
Bell wireless speedo.
Stainless engine screws.
The bike has been updated with a Chamber Exhaust pipe since these pictures have been taken. Also have the centrifugal clutch, wide cranks, and a shorter intake on order.
Adjusting carb:
My main jet measured about .66(.71 drill bit). I had to drill it out to about .76(.69 drill bit). I also had to adjust the float level. The float level was set way to low from the factory. Also Removed the air screw plug and adjusted the air screw out to 1.5 turns.
The bike now runs pretty good, but when I get back from vacation, I am going to clean up the ports and will probably have to drill up one more size on the main jet.
