Felt Slant: latest test ride.......

Now that I got the ol' 212cc engine back together (after bending both pushrods at the last race event), it's time for a little test ride on this fine hot August Sunday.......

The noticable performance difference is the front wheel doesn't aim for the heavens on take-off and there is a bit of chatter from the clutches initial engagement as opposesd to the smooth and constant pull the CVT offers to the top of the rpm's at WOT.

So in a nut shell it's very similar, less the take-off.

After I got home, I pulled the valve cover and re-torqued the head (after cooling of course). Then I re-set the valve lash, the valvetrain did loosen ever so slightly. Can't wait to get back to the track again.......
