Hi everyone. The bearings and clutch spring in my Histop brake hub are toast. I was tired and cranked em down to hard when I had the brake pads oriented wrong. So here's my question would it be cheaper/easier to by a shimano cb110 hub and use the guts out of it? I read somewhere that shimano and histop were made by the same factory. Will a shimano E type clutch work? I can find an e type cluch on amazon for like $1.50 and the bearings for $4.45 plus shipping. I'm just looking for an easy, cheap and decent fix. I did find this Industrial Bikes - Detail Looks like it has all the things I need. Any help would be really appreciated. Also the nearest bike shop is over 60 miles, so I have to mailorder.:-||
