cable breaks

Both my clutch cable and throttle cable have broken from my 66cc Grubbee skyhawk. Is there something i am doing wrong or can do to stop this? thanks -max

buy better quality ones from a bike shop. good stainless brake cables are cheap. you'll have to solder a new nub on for the throttle.

lube your cables with some good grease. just take a pinch of grease, then pull the cable through your fingers.

make sure they're routed properly, with no kinks.

the nice cables have a teflon sleeve inside the housing that the cable goes through. it's a big difference than the std. cable housing. and also avoid any kinks in the cable, the less bends the better.
