Hi
Just tried firing my bike up today and no ignition. Fuel is flowing into the carb, however it is not going into the engine. Everything else in the engine works perfectly and it does want to start as i have tried ''easy start'' spray to fire it up. I took a look at the carb and it was dry from the inside + there was no smell of fuel coming from the manifold. I have a strong feeling that this has something to do with the notched metal needle which is inside the carb. Any help would be great guys, especially diagrams/pics.
Thanks

If it doesn't fire on easy start spray, you may not have spark.
Check for spark first. Then if you have spark, check that you fuel is flowing into the float by pushing down the tickler for a second or two, and if fuel is flowing, you will definitely smell/see it.
If you then have confirmed spark and fuel, pull up the choke 3/4 of the way and pedal it hard, pop the clutch while working the throttle a little.
