Curt, if you are talking the common CG NT then the 66cc would be it. I assume the jetting would have to be enlarged. The carb for a Honda Cub Clone engine would also work I believe Maybe one for a 125cc? That should be in the general range of CCs for the Lauson.

I am running the NT on my 2cylinder Maytag and at the rpms it makes I guessing its around 2hp. Going up a few jet sizes was all it took.

I'd run the carb I'm running now, the adjustable jet carb from the Tecumseh H35. if the 2hp is similar to the briggs then the tec intake manifold will bolt right on with 5min of grinding the holes. Adjustable main jet!! And they are only around $15 a piece. Believe me you WANT adjustable jets!

For my 3.5hp the needle settings are main 3/4 turn out, idle 1 turn out.

Reason I say it's good is cause it feels a bit small for my engine, it's got a Venturi size of around 12mm. I'd like to upgrade to a larger carb maybe 19 or 20mm.

KOOL! I looked at the stock carb and the venture is only about 1/2" small. That's a neat link with the adjustable fuel screw, thanks. I will do some more snooping and wait for more ideas this week.......................Curt
