I have been enjoying alot riding my cruiser. Drive it to work in the afternoon and cruise it in the weekends when i can. Really happy the way my first build has turned out.

Now the only thing i'm not happy with is the brakes. Only have the coaster brake out back. Need options. I want one that will let me keep the fenders. Looking around and disk brakes look the best. How do i know which will work with my cruiser. its got 26" rims. And might need help to install them too lol.

Disc brakes are the way to go. I bought me a heavy duty wheel rear freewheel from my local bike store(35 bucks) and disc brake adapter from bikedesigner.com(20 bucks). Then I bought a Avid BB5 disc brake kit(40 bucks with my membership discount) from REI. Made me an adapter and installed it on the front. The stopping difference is night and day. Now if can only get one installed in the rear lol
