Hello,
Traced a air leak back to a defective crank seal on the magneto side.

-Where is the best (cheapest) place to get another one of these?
-To remove the existing one should I just pry it out with a flat head or knife blade?
-To install one should I just grease it and then press it in with something like a PVC pipe that fits around the shaft and hammer it on?

Thanks

You can get one from AL fisherman he sells them there the best,or eBay but there not as good.Just grease them and try pushing in by hand at first after you grease them, sometime you can get them in by hand if lucky, otherwise pipe will do but make sure your going in smooth and straight. When you pry the other one out be very careful not to scratch the wall of crank shaft or the case. What I learned by people in here.If you scratch them up the new seal will leak.Try getting a tool that is sharp and can get under old seal and pry from crankshaft out.I just replaced one on magneto side myself no leaks right now and got a 100 miles so far so good.
