I've had this 49cc Skyhawk for a year and had nothing but problems with the CNS v2 racing carb....I'm ready to throw it in the garbage. The cable was cut about 1/2" too long and I've ended up twisting the throttle apart trying to keep it going...has anyone had any luck with the v3? Is the carb and throttle better quality?

So far I've rode this thing about 5km total in a year. Please help me get this to a better state?

Thanks! :-||

Unfortunately it's got the cylinder end on it, on the throttle side - not adjustable. I tried to figure out ways around that, but the plastic "twist" throttle is of really thin low-quality plastic and now it's all loose and not working right.

I did wonder about using a bike gear shifter as a throttle for this, but I wonder if half the problem I've had is the carb itself being junk.
