In the process of trying to get the large bevel gear that integrates with the clutch assembly off the motor. It is being difficult.
We got the small bevel gear off without any difficulty using the "gear puller tool" (that I borrowed from a buddy). When attempting the large gear, it got started a little bit coming off with the gear puller tool and then the gear puller threads gave up and off came the gear puller without moving the gear any further.
Now I am looking for another gear puller tool and apparently this isn't easy either. Does anybody know where to get gear puller tools?
I wouldn't mind hearing any tips on getting a large bevel gear off the shaft.
