I have a 36T on my bike, and it will do 35 mph, but it's running 7000 rpm to do it, which you could consider the red line.

If you cruise around at the red line all the time, your motor isn't going to last very long. Im comfortable cruising at 30 on it, but it likes 27 better. 24 is even better. There are times when I'm in traffic running 35 on it, but I try to limit that as much as possible.

Stuff likes to come loose at those speeds.

Bolts
Screws
Fillings
Mufflers

At 30 not so much
At 26 hardly at all.

Go with the 41T for now then. 32T is way too tall for a stock motor.

With a 41T you'll be able to do about 31-32 mph.

This is how fast a 40T goes. A 41T will be about 1 mph slower.

Awesome! I'll put this on tomorrow. Not what should a 44 tooth top out at? around 28 or so? How do I know if im getting 7000 rpm? So i should see a difference with the better gas?

With a 44T most people can do 28, but only after break in is complete.

My bikes don't get full power till after 350 miles, and I start running 40:1 or higher ratio.

couple ways - saw intake in two pieces & join them with a short piece of rubber hose that will take fuel (use two hose clamps), put carb on and tie it to bike frame with a zip-tie to hold up its weight - or get an extended intake off the net that will bring the carb out the right side of the frame (usually about $8)

on the avalon, be careful in getting the front mount solid & you might want to disable the rear spring with a piece of pipe inside
