**** again. After my 2 failed attempts with 2 Stretchs, I picked up a UnMolested 100% original 1958 Corvette 3 Speed. Bike is being all done up pretty like starting tomorrow but I have one issue I have yet to resolve.

I want to run a hub adapter so my sprocket is not riding on the spokes. Shift kit is out of the question entirely. Manic Mechanic has adapters up to 1.77 which doesnt work for me.

The 3 speed hub on mine says, Schwinn Approved, Austria which I believe is Steyr. It measures in at a whopping 2.287 hub diameter. This is laced to a Schwinn S7 rim. It is possible the rims were swapped out at one time, because the shifter itself is a SA shifter?

What options are out there for me and this hub as far as adapters?

From Sportsman:

They cannot make an adapter that large.

Im guessing no one makes an adapter that fits these so im back to square one. I was under the impression that this hub was the same as a SA AW3. Isnt there any hub adapters for those yet?
