Way cool build! I'm very intrigued by the propane tank idea. I'm new and just completed my first build. I decided right away that the tank was not going on the top tube, so I mounted it on the rack with the intention of replacing it with something custom. Did you run into any trouble drilling into this thing? How do you make CERTAIN there's no pressure or residual gas in it before you drill it? I'm considering devising a way to puncture a propane tank from a distance. Is this over cautious?

I used the propane tank for a small camping grill. Cooked with it until the tank was empty. Then it has a valve on top of tank near the edge that is a valve to release pressure. You pull on it to release any residual propane or fumes. I pulled back on it and got very little out but did smell propane. I then crossed my fingers, and drilled this puppy. I have done one more this way with no problems. Still have all my fingers and eyes.
