This is the bike I purchased from the local swap meet (Frame Only) that I just finished making complete. I was in a bad MB accident after work yesterday and unable to work for a few days but bored as **** just sitting around; I limped around and gathered up parts that I had from other bikes and assembled what you see. I tried to test ride it but was unable, I used my kid as the test pilot and that was a mistake…now he wants it!!!! I told him to bid on it…lol…he offered to find me another Dyno on Craigslist but that’s getting real old.
We shall see what becomes of this build….motors just fit so nice in these frames to not complete….

Hi Jeff,
An accident, huh? That sucks. I'm still recovering from a spill months back on a pedal bike. The bike looks cool. Nothing like a nice three-bar frame to get you thinking about another tank.

I just found this earlier today and when I saw you photos I thought of it immediately. The geometry on this Merkel and your bike is very similar. What size wheels does yours have?

The bike has 26 in rims and 2.125 tires on it. The bikes a little cramped until I weld up a lay-back seat post and try it. I really want to make it a nice little cruiser thats not too loud.

26 this is the story:

Well on my way home from work I take a little short cut that has a slight down-hill with a sharp left to head over a bridge; came down the hill and hit the front brake to make that turn and low and behold the deadly sand pile was waiting that I did not see. Hit the ground so hard that I felt I was going to spit teeth out. Right away the blood was really flowing. Thank god it was a block from my house. The bottom line…bad cut above the eye, bad cut on upper lip, one loose tooth, an almost broken jaw and found out today that my knee cap has a break in it. I will need to see a specialist for the knee cap which sucks. The good news is I talked my way out of stitches and I had a few days off from work to fight with my older son….lol

Made a new lay-back seat post out of 1/2 black pipe, could not find a seapost for that frame. It is strong...and you would never know it was black pipe thanks to the flap wheel. Sure helped with the riding position. I sure dig this bike...
