Dax has a great price on the 80(shh 70)cc that I couldn't pass up. I need to stick it on something and sell (peddle?) it to see if this is what I want to do. I have a lightweight with an appropriate vee frame and 1-1/4" tires and a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer hub. Is it possible to tune calipers so they will actually slow it down? I don't want to sell something that is dangerous. Maybe it takes fresh pucks or something. I don't have any that do much of anything. Is there a secret to adjusting them I am missing?
Do you suppose the African lyin' king was watching telly on the 15th?

my front brake pads are wearing fast(they were used to begin with)so i will replace them now and i will hook up my rear brakes and try them to see if stopping power is any better.right now i use my front breaks and my foot(i have boots on) to stop.
i wish i had disc brakes or a coaster break to help.
