Lost me e-clip today while trying to adjust fuel mixture. Found some online at lowes but im not sure the diameter of the needle. The smallest sizes they stock are: 5/32 and 7/32. will either of those work?

Depends on if those measurements are ID, inside diameter or OD, outside diameter.
I'll go measure a needle for you and post here. My suggestion would be to go to Ace Hardware and look in those plastic drawers they keep all that neat small stuff in. They'd be more apt to have the right size than a big box.

EDIT: If you have an NT carb, you didn't tell us, the groove in the needle is .06". The OD of the clip itself .26". If you'd prefer metric it is 1.7mm and the clip is 5.9mm OD.
