The $89 deal on for just the drive assembly is a super deal as is but really killer when you consider it includes throttle, cable, kill switch AND shipping.

Heh, and a bonus rear rack if he meets his extended goal. Too good to pass up.

Anyone who hasn't run a friction drive should get one of these. Just to try. For when your happy time goes to the happy hunting ground - :)

If I didn't already have 2 Statons I'd get one myself.

I dislike friction drives but this is a very good deal AND it helps a small outfit get going.
If I had ANY cash, I'd be all over this deal.

I'm surprised that there is not more interest in this. I do hope James meets his goal.

Did anyone ever placing the friction drive on the front wheel?
