after breaking my favorite bike last season (made with thin metal)

i have finally resurrected the orange peeler
ORIG THREAD:
http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=32444

so i tore down the old engine mount, fabbed up a new one

this setup has a secondary bearing on the right side of the spindle, its from a trailor wheel. i made a brass adaptor to fit in the end of the shortened knurled peg, and the other end the bearing. its rated for 55 mph with a fully loaded trailor on it so i hope its over kill and will never break haha.

the clutch is upgraded to 1/4'' steel, the whole asembly is welded, and the bolts are hardened.

the hardest part was making the mount for the engine.

please dont criticize my welds, they look like bubble gum (flux welder) the more the better i say haha

the original top speed was 30.4 MPH with 25cc's

the new topspeed from today is 24.5 mph with the same engine

it is slower but 4x as relyable
nowonder the old mount broke haha
