I agree that you should mess with valve lash and jetting. Richen it up a bit. Also, I'm sure you've checked, but is the CVT engaging all the way at those rpms? You may want to play with the clutch weights.

on a side note... where did you get those keepers for your rear?
I welded them up out of some screws and washers, the "washers" are just scrap metal I welded together.

The governor has been bypassed weeks ago.

The only thing I'd really do for the bike at this point is get a new belt IDK how many miles I have on mine I'm not sure of its engaging the total outside diameter of the driver. Its been listed for sale for a while now, I'm just going to enjoy it till its sold. I'm planning on taking the funds and getting a motorcycle that isn't in running condition and rebuilding it.

On the plus side the bike is running and looking great with the new mirrors I added. :D I'm taking all offers for this guy.
