I'm building a chopper right and I'm looking for great acceleration and a decent top speed( around 55 max).I going with a dirt bike tire for obvious reasons

i have the motor and bike and mounting it now, but i have no idea what to use for a gear box or if i should just go with a centrifugal clutch for simplicity. Would a centrifugal clutch accelerate with any kind of performance at all?

Also i had an idea to make a jack shaft the would double as a crank by using a free wheel on each side where the crank arms would attach.

Any ideas people and help would be greatly appreciated.

Top Speed Calculation from max Torque site.

Enter the outside Diameter of the Drive Wheel:
26

Enter the engine/clutch sprocket size (# of teethA) teeth)
10

Enter the axle/drive sprocket size (# of teeth)
50

Enter the engine R.P.M. speed: (maximum rpm)
3600

CALCULATED SPEED === 55.688454545

-------------------------------or with a 40 tooth sprocket it would be 69.6105681818
