well i would say if your not gonna crack er open then a simple port match will do http://motorbicycling.com/f52/basics-port-polish-port-matching-16646-2.html

aside from that i would gut the mag and clutch and make sure seals are tight and put them back together i read a few threads on engine tear down i found the best thing to do as actuallt take it apart really its not alot of work and right now while your motor is new and clean it is easier than a greasy motor

also A SMALL DAB of grease on the clutch gears

umm make sure all bolts are tight u might want to invest in a hardware kit basicly change the cover bolts studs and mainfold bolts to allen head bolts

now if you decide to take er apart well clean up inside nicely there will be some stuff left in from manufacter replace all gaskets with good gasket material

you really have no reason to take it apart but to simply see how everything works but id make sure i have a running motor bike first then take apart the next one just do the port matching for now
