I keep looking at a Girvin fork I have. It probably will work good, and ride stiffness is adjustable through the viscosity of oil used in the damper.
The problem I'm having isn't the mechanism, but the look of the rear facing dropout. It just looks kinda funky, and keeps me from throwing it on a bike. I can reverse the dropout, or just move it under the fork legs, but I'll be reducing the trail.
How will that "actually" change, or effect handling?
