This may interest some of you intrepid tinkerers. I myself have a throwaway engine that I'm happy to mess with but I want to know what is going on here. This guy made a simple add on to his plug with some capacitors and got an EVIL spark. This could destroy the plug or worse the piston, but it seems like a fun thing to try for the brave, the rich, and those with too many junk engines. ENJOY GUYS :D !!! MVI 3559 - YouTube

What is happening there is more than likely what a high power CDI does. (That Stands for Capacitive Discharge Ignition) you can do that with a standard ignition and throw a Resistor and Capacitor on the plug (a couple 'performance' plug companies do this).

the problem is that you burn up the electrode, and screw with the timing. A motor with that plug would probably run lousy just because of the erratic timing.
