Hf 99cc vs 66cc china 2 stroke reliability?

Pretty much a no contest right? Got my funds ready to build a racer. I know the 2 stroke tuned can do 40, but the 99cc can do 45.

With agk parts, the 99cc will almost be a bolt and go. Of course I will weld in the motor mount, use a solid old frame with horizontal track dropouts.

At the same time I also have an electric hub motor, which will be able to do 33 mph if I buy a 388 dollar battery. Will sell electrics to do gas build if I decide.

Opinions?

It's not easy to get a HT to do 40, some of them aren't capable no matter what you do.

The stock 99cc will easily hit 40 without modifications other than better breathing exhaust.

Once you try a Preddy, you will start loosing interest in the HT's

That's what I thought.

I just infact love 2 strokes... The sound, smell..


And the ebike kit is easy to install

The HF 4-strokes, Huashengs, and Hondas are all modern industrial/commercial rated engines with cast iron cylinder sleeves, they'll run all day.
Most of them even have their own cooling fan. A lot of them are inexpensive.

The chinagirl dates back to the 1930's worker's movement. It's cheap and compact, designed for loaded commuting at low speeds.
They're fun, but compared to modern engines they are practically a toy.

Makes perfect sense! 99cc here I come...

What about the new Dax high hp 2 stroke.. I feel like it still won't be as reliable as a 4 stroke ..
