hi ..im looking at these two hub adapters manic mechanic's..or the one on pirate cycles ..which is better?
the pirate cycles one says they fit manic's sprockets
pirates are way cheaper ..also which sprocket to choose?..i have a heavy beach cruiser(60 -70) lbs ..i weigh 180 lbs ..& someday maybe a small sidecar or trailer ...also should add sidecar isnt for another person
top speed isnt important but i dont want to be at a permanant snail's pace either
thanks

I will have a Manic Mechanic sprocket assy, 40 tooth sprocket and 415 chain on Ebay starting at 11PM tonight if anyone is interested.

I assue you can search on "Manic Mechanic sprocket" after tonight.

I am going to make my own sprocket mount by applying fiberglass to the inside of my spokes, then drilling holes for the bolts to go through. It will be similar to a "pineapple" adapter, only permanently attached to my wheel. I may also incorporate the rag behind the fiberglass just for extra support.

I can't remember where i read it but someone on the forum had a problem with his adapter slipping. He solved the problem by cutting a keyed slot on the hub.
