I use it on my Suzuki motorcycle air filter and it's great stuff. Foam filters do a lot
better job of air cleaning when they're soaked in a sticky oil, like PJ1.

Has anyone used it before? .....or does using it interfere with the little carb's
air/fuel metering?

Thanks

I find that with the unreeded two strokes at least, that there's plenty enough back-blow to "oil" the filter quite well... I would think that with the stock "filter" it'd make little to no difference as they're a filter in name only & with the aftermarket K&N style the thick filter oil would indeed impede flow...

But hey, give it a try - worst case scenario you'd jus' be running rich but clean ;)

biscuit,
Unless you're doing a lot of dirt/dust riding there would be no benefit to adding extra oil to the filter element. Like Barley Awake said, try it if you're curious but I doubt seriously if you'll see any improvements, and actually expect some power loss due to the reduction in air.
Also, give us old guys a break and increase your font size. I hate to put glasses on to read my screen :)
