Put together my first motorized bicycle. Took my tall frame 21 speed road/mtn bike and put on a 66cc stinger kit. I've run through almost a half gal at 16:1. It's running better & better.
It feels like I'm hitting 40mph on level ground, much fun!
I'm ordering a SBP shift kit!!!

Anyone in the Napa Vallejo area?

Welcome to the forum. Follow your break in instructions or your new handle may become "danceswithblownmotor". Just kidding. Be patient. Breakin will be over before you know it.

Re: New to MB in SF bay area

Hi dances, my sister lives in SF as does one of my good friends.

It may feel like 30MPH but it's not, at least I sure hope your not doing 30 on a new motor, especially a Stinger.

There is a lot more to a jackshaft kit than it looks.
I am doing a jackshaft build right now and have a topic here about it you might want to search for "Jackshaft" for it.

My build is special because of space constraints and the forward crank, but I took great pics of how to put it together.
