I am starting a do-it-yourself Chainsaw powered bike project.
I have a Poulan pp4018 type 1 chainsaw.
I bought a Bmx bike peg for the friction drive roller. I am wondering if I can tap the peg with a left hand tap so it will screw directly on the crankshaft. The crankshaft only has threading on base of the shaft. It has none farther away from the body.
Anyone know what the threading is on the crankshaft? Or, an easier or better way to get the bike peg on the crankshaft?
