While mowing the yard I glanced at my Skat Kat frame, wheels, and 2hp Lauson motor I never went further with. I noticed a nice flat platform for a jackshaft cast into the rear fender (the thing is a weird sand cast ally frame with rear fender cast in.) I got my split spring pulley from an AC Sears treadmill out. It would bolt right on and be the right length, bearings and all, giving me a CVT. Unfortunately I had picked it out for speed regulator on a planned helve hammer project. :( Decisions, decisions.
