Im new to the site and didnt know you have you subscribe before you post threads.
I moved from Cali to Tucson Az and plan to buy a kit for my 26" electra beach cruiser but I have some questions. How do i know the kit will fit on my bike and what are some good reliable sites to order a kit/parts from. It just has coaster breaks, should i look into buying front/ rear brakes?

Welcome Tcams_Zonie to the forum, always good to have another Tucsonan on the board. We have a very large group of AZ members here.

I sent ya a PM but you can disregard, sorry about that, it's all explained in the PM.

I rode for years with only rear coaster brakes, but it is a good ideal to have at least front as well.

I believe the electra has plenty of room, but you can get the frame dimensions in this thread http://motorbicycling.com/f3/what-kind-bike-would-you-recommend-510.html

Or you can print out this template http://www.gasbikeshop.com/downloads/engine-template.jpg

I would recommend Spooky Tooth Cycles - Motorized Bicycles: Gas Powered and Electric Bikes - Home or bicycle engine kit, bike engine, bicycle engine, bicycle motor
