I bet you could make a nice third wheel pusher using a weed whacker engine and a scooter wheel and sprocket. I bet you could attach the small electric motor sprocket to the clutch bell of the WW. That way you could keep the clutch and pull chord. A long shifter cable attached to an old shifter at one end and spliced into the throttle cable of the WW would make a good throttle system and minimum amount of work.

The trailer design I use for E pushers would work pretty well for this kind of build. Since it lifts for storage, you could lift it for starting so that you could rev it without the bike moving then with the clutch you could drop it and only engage it after you had the bike in motion. I think it would probably be the easiest of all dyi builds.

I am so tempted but I do NOT want to build with gasoline again..
