hi i just recently installed a 80cc kit on my 20" bmx. it wouldnt fit inside the frame so i mounted it up top. the supplied chain wasnt long enough so i went out and bought a no. 40 chain. will this work ok? also, is it possible to mount the gas tank on the side of the engine or below it? or does it have to be above ?thanks for your help.

The gas tank has to be ABOVE the carb because it is gravity fed, unless you get some kind of pump. The chain MIGHT be too wide, although the pitch and roller diameter are the same. The stock chain is #415, they dont list it in the chart, but as I remember it is 3/16" wide. I use #41 it is 1/4" wide on my MB, the #40 is 5/16" wide, so it is 1/8" wider than the stock chain, so check your width for engine clearance. See the link for dimensional info.

Weird! I even looked at that thing in a mirror and it still looked backwards. But, if you're going to have a gas tank I guess it has to go somewhere.
