I'll try to diagnose long distance, see what happens. Make sure the clutch cable is not pulling too much then pull the clutch cover off. Right below it there's a *star* nut. It's held in place with a small screw. Remove the screw and turn the star clockwise(to the right) 2 notches. Two notchs and not 2 turns. See if that helps. Put the screw back in. You might have to do more than that but it's a start. When you put the cover back on make sure you get the bolts tight, they like to loosen up from the vibration.
