what is the proper oil/gas ratio for breaking in a 66cc china girl ?
I've heard 24:1 or 32:1 ............... but we all know too much oil is bad and too little worse ............... Ive been using 50:1 but its a little too rich it bogs down (so much smoke also) ....... i use synthetic oil (ipone)

So what ratio do you people recommend i switch too

24:1 for the first couple of gallons then 32:1 afterwards. That's if you're using regualar 2 stroke oil. Some synthetics can be run safely at 50:1 and Opti-2 at 100:1.

Whatever, disregard the kit instructions that tell you to run 16:1. That's too much oil and can foul the spark plug and clog the exhaust system.
This information is 'rule of thumb' and some members will have other recommendations. Nevertheless, you can't go wrong with the above ratios.

I probably wouldn't even go a couple gallons like Tom suggested, but I pay real close attention to how an engine feels and take it real ez for a while so it doesn't have to work real hard while getting broken in...

Get yourself a nice NGK sparkplug for when you are done running the thick mix.
