The wo's of finding a frame in the uk!!

All I can find on the bay are thin little frames that are very high and have a short wheel base. Does anyone know of a particular make/model that is common in the uk (or at least can be found) that has potential? Or am I being short sighted...

haha Looks like I got owned. Normally i can see the potential immediately but they don't seem like the right shape?

This isn't the UK but pretty close, Germany..! The bottombracket is placed wrong but a easy fix, and the frame is cheap to. I have ordered stuff from them before, nice bunch.
