Another Honda question

real happy with the honda except the box type muffler which yucks. My last HS142 engine came with the box muffler too. I took it off and found out real quick how difficult it was to remove the long studs. They have some kind of super thread lock and although I was able to remove the long studs i noticed some of the engine block threads came out with the studs. I was able to re tap the stud holes but was not comfortable with the results. Please advise regarding the removeal of these studs on the honda as i dont want to yuck it up
