Hi everyone - been tinkering with bikes since I was a kid (I'm still a 50 year old kid) and decided to hook up with others who like to do the same. I have a couple of homebuilt projects on the go, a restoration project, and several more ideas in my head if I ever get time to complete them all. I am currently in the final stages of restoring a '66 Solex, I am nearly finished a FWD scratchbuilt electric, and am collecting parts for a 2 wheeled version of a gas / electric hybrid using the same technology as the upcoming Chevrolet Volt. I also have an old set of DIY plans from the early 50's to build a pusher trailer that I hope to get around to someday. I also have a Yamaha Vino to keep me amused as well.
