Hello everybody, you are my most reliable source of information and for that I thank you for helping me with these questions.
It all started when I had my bike running great, I rode it to the store and some ******* stole it. Luckily I came out in the nick of time to chase him down at the point I caught up to him (he couldn't get it started because I had the fuel line in the off position) so when I caught up to him he threw the bike down on the ground and now it won't start :-/
I took the carb off cleaned it out, checked the float, put it back together and it still wouldn't start. I also got a new spark plug gapped it to.040 and the engine still wouldn't start. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for all your help.

Start with the basics - check your wiring connections. Verify that you have spark. Check to make sure the plug wire is connected to the CDI. Also, might want to remove the kill switch from the circuit.

Good Luck,

Like, BigBlue said, start with the basics.
Carb has gas?
Plug has spark?
And.... 0.040" is a huge spark plug gap for these engines.
Start out with 0.025" to 0.028"
