Just ordered my first motorized bike and thought I'd sign up.

Got tired of the overpriced gas situation and figured I'd try to make my stand on it. Bought it for everything that will not require the use of my truck.

I've been reading up on everything I can about maintenance, durability and overall operation of them. I chose to go the pre-built route as not to end up spending the same amount on modifying my own for lesser results.

Look forward to seeing the progress of many of your projects and learning from everyone's knowledge. I feel an addiction coming on, should I shred the cc's and checks now?

welcome to the forum. in actuality the motor added to the bicycle does not ad a lot of extra expense at all. depends on how fancy you want to make your ride. at least with me all the extra expense was stuff i wanted that you ad to a bicycle weather it has a motor or not. glad to have you with us and yes it will become an addiction or an obsession :D
