I hit a nasty hole the other day and bent my rim pretty badly. I took it apart and tightened my spokes were it was bent and straightened it out. It actually was very close to being not salvagable. I have a electra bike its a beach cruiser and the rear rim is $140. I wasnt ready to buy another rim just yet! It actually broke 3 spokes and i had to take them off another rim that had bad bearings..I was thinking about getting a heavier gauge spokes for the rim..Does anyone know where I can get different spokes at?
