Like the title says, what's the name of the thing that threads onto the top of the spark plug?
Is there a proper name for it? I see it sometimes called a 'nut' or a 'ball'.
Are they available for sale somewhere like a pack of ten or something?

I have heard it called "Terminal nut", "Ring screw terminal", "Screw on terminal" either way its on the part of the plug called "Terminal"

i was gonna say, "the engine..." :)

oh, and i've always called it a terminal.
The cylinder head?
Personally, I like to thread the plug into the head instead of rotating the whole bike around.
Hmmm, reminds me of an old joke about light bulbs, ladders and people of a certain European persuasion.

I guess we all know that some of the spark plugs have them where they don't unscrew, it is continous with the electrode all the way throught. It should be the same rough dimentions of the terminal nut, but will break the spark plug apart if attempted to twist.

Just thought I'd mention that, so then ya in that case the engine unscrews!
