I want to put suspension forks on my Schwinn Riverside. The steerer tube is 1". I know there are forks on the market, but I don't really know where to start looking. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks in advance, Steve Gibson.

I just searched ebay. You will find a lot of forks there. But 1" May be hard to find in suspension. Unless you go with a monark fork. Are you wanting something like a downhill mountain bike suspension fork or pitbike fork?

I find them on parts bikes. Yard sales, thrift stores, goodwill, etc. all have tons of cheap bikes. Look for the girls bikes for better prices.

There are a lot of nice used moped suspension forks that will work. Good quality and reasonable. Check the length of the tube it will fit in to make sure the fork tube is long enough, but not too crazy long. A little extra length can be taken up with shims (washers) from a donor bike if need be.
