Saw a thread there that was talking about the old days and riding with no hands etc. When I was a kid you had to be able to do that. I simply wore out three bikes in my early days. A Schwinn 24, and cruiser with a tank that had a horn and srpinger fork, and a three speed in hub shifter via thumb shifter. I used the last one for a paper route, no telling how many miles it had on it. First gear would slip and make you talk in a high voice but the bike was great. Did not work well on sandy south Ga. roads though. Skinny tires would sink. Better stop, could go on forever. Got the Crannys engine mounted and now putting on the small stuff. Soon now.
