I have 2 jackshafts that'll allow me to run a 2spd auto.

Should i go with a low gear and a high gear or stay single speed.
Low gear 9.5:1 for 22.5"tires ~ 11.4:1 for 27" tires
High gear 6.69:1 for 22.5"tires ~ 8.06:1 for 27" tires

~4100rpm is where the second clutch kicks in for high gear, and low gear would just freewheel.

Two speeds are better than one IMO.

Better wrap that pipe or make a nice heat shield for it unless you like toasted inner left leg ;)

The first clutch is a DBR clutch with a 14t sprocket engages when I release the clutch lever. It'll run to the first jackshaft with 25t sprocket. On the left side of the shaft, 1st gear is an 18t freewheel that'll drive the 48t freewheel on the bottom bracket. When the engine hit 4100rpm ~29mph, the first shaft would hit 2300rpm which engages the second clutch on the right side of the shaft.

I would have to spend ~ $140 on parts though.

Scotto, no worries, the exhaust is gonna be wrapped.
