Help me find proper clutch

I recently bought this motor and i cant seem to find a clutch for it . i wanna use either a 520 or 420 chain and sprocket . If you can help me find one at a reasonable price id really appreciate it .

Are you planning on using that 420 CC on a bike?

Unless you want a typical centrifugal clutch, which will not be able to shift and the works, you are going to need a proper gearbox clutch... Maybe find a motorcycle clutch that would fit this motor? If its the same as the 79/212/99/etc, the shaft should be a bit above 5/8 and can be sanded down to 5/8 while letting engine idle...

I presume that a 420 cc has a 1" shaft as the HF site or yourself don't tell us.

A thread title "Help me find 1" Centrifugal Clutch for a 420 cc" would get better results.

Big Boy Cycles just built a 1" shaft centrifugal clutch 6 HP diesel bike.
They said the 1" centrifugal clutch was the only one they could find
to use in their application.

Sounds like a cool project so how about some pics?

I am always right with the exception of when I am wrong.

here are the specs from that PDF.......

420 cc HF
Shaft 1″ x 3.48″
Keyway 1/4″ (6.35 mm)
End Tapped 3/8″ - 24

The 79 / 99 cc HF are 5/8"
200 / 212 cc are 3/4"
420 cc is 1"

There is no motorcycle clutch that will fit a 1" shaft 420 cc but
there is a new $175 hand lever operated manual clutch for a 3/4"
shaft 200 cc motor which dan linked to above.

Have you looked at Comet torque converters? It may do the trick on that monster..
