I think I remember someone here that runs a 72 tooth sprocket. Some old fart, out west some where. ;-) Maybe he'll chime in, if he aint too busy pullin his grand-daughters around.

LOL, Can't wait till Bill sees that :)

And yes he runs a 72T but he's also one of those weird guys who runs a 4 stroke. Those things with all those moving parts; valves, cams, push rods, rocker arms, they have valve covers and you gotta put oil in the crankcase. Sounds complicated to me.

I am a long time 4cycle guy now, but,
I did use a 56 when I was pulling the small trailer with the 2smoke ;)
great launch and hill climbing/trailer hauling gear !!!
due to the difference in gear ratios between the 2's & 4'sI wouldn't go any larger than a 60 tooth

PS,,,I had to clean spewed coffee off the monitor I laughed so hard at the first coupla posts !!! laff

HI,

While we have not (yet) done one, we can go as high as 124T I believe.....

FWIW the largest sprocket we have made for motorized bike use is 80 T (approx 13" in diameter).

Hope this helps you....I say go for the 124T !!! ;-)
