i saw those 2 days ago. i didn't know they just came out. i read comments from somewhere else where the spandexers were complaining that it was a few more grams heavier. lol
paired with an armadillo reinforced tire sounds like a great match.

It sounds great, but these tubes won't be in the pipeline for some time.

What tubes would you guys recommend for riding on rough, cracked, debris-filled roadside lane edges? My tires are 26" X 1.95 mountain bike tires, a little knobby for my tastes, but I'd take suggestions for a quality, smoother riding replacement.

I'd like to minimize flats without resorting to liquid filling, if possible.

I have had good luck with the self-sealing tubes and kevlar-lined tires that are available at Wal*Mart. I have ridden through broken glass many times, and not a flat yet.

I hear the extra heavy duty ones with slime are good along with a Kevlar tire.
Stops most flats
