how do you measure the gas and oil ratio, for example lets say 25 to 1, do you use a measurer at first, is it in ounces. what type of oil and gas is good for a new 2 strroke engine......

A gallon of fuel is 64 oz. How many oz of oil will give you a 24:1 mix? 64 oz fuel divided by 24 parts equals 2.67 oz of oil per gallon. Any good moonshiner can tell you that.

I think you meant 128 oz? Unless Google is lying to me...

Okay to answer your question OP...
Buy a portable gas tank (let's say you got a 5 gallon one)

5 Gallons = 640 Ounces
640 / 25 = 25.6
So just round that to 26 Ounces

Put 26 Ounces of the oil (use a measuring tool, you know like the kitchen ones) and add that to the 5 gallon portable gas tank and mix it. Then just use the portable gas tank to fill your actual gas tank. And I guess just convert different values with a different sized fuel tank.
(Well, this was my plan, is there a flaw with it?)

As for the type of oil and gas....

Please use Maxima racing oil, castor 927 or Motul 7000 oil.
If you can't find those, be SURE to use a motorcycle 2-stroke synthetic oil. Regular cheap 87 octane gasoline is all you need.

Chill sandwich, he's a moonshiner...that apparently has been tasting a little too much of the last batch. LOL

I agree with the 128 ounces

I use a Corona bottle! (12oz)
12oz of oil mixed with 2 gallons of gas is 24:1 (for engine break in)... 12oz of oil mixed with 3 gallons of gas is 32:1.

It's really that easy!! ;)
